Job Description
Position: Associate Quality Control Engineer
• Primary Role of Position
Associate Quality Control (QC) Engineers will join all trainings which are designed for them. They will learn basic software testing methodologies and comprehend software testing processes.
Associate QC Engineers can join projects as reserve QC Engineers. They help to fulfill testing activities which are assigned by the QC Lead/QC Manager.

• Responsibilities
 Join all trainings designed for them. The trainings are about basic software testing methodologies, domain knowledge, technologies, and software testing processes.
 Study project requirements; identify vague and incomplete requirements and send them to project manager and other team members to clarify, correct and update.
 Help the QC lead to identify tasks and estimate task efforts, duration and cost.
 Design manual test cases.
 Execute test cases and report test results.
 Log, report, and track defects/bugs.
 Participate in project reviews: requirements review, design review, test plan and test case review.
 Participate in change controls process, run causal analysis and resolution for assigned defects/issues.
 Report status to QC Lead/QC Manager.

• Authorities
 Participate in the software development activities and give ideas, solutions to improve the software products and processes.
 Able to escalate problems, issues to QC Manager or higher management.

• Requirements
 Have general knowledge in Database, Networking, Operating system and Software Engineering.
 Have programming skills and able to write VBScript, JavaScript and C#.
 Be good at English speaking, writing and listening.
 Have good working attitudes and have strong teamwork spirit.
 Have self-learning and self-management skills.
 Have the sense of pro-activeness and assertiveness.
 Have analytical thinking skills.
 Have communication and documentation skills.

• Education/Training Preferred
BS. Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline. Bachelor’s Degree in non – Computer Sciences/IT can be considered if earning good knowledge/hands-on experience in software development/software testing.
